GENETIC ALGORITHM ALGORITHMS FOR THE MAXIMUM POWER POINT TRACKING IN PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

Abstract

This paper presents an intelligent control method for the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of a photovoltaic system under variable temperature and irradiance conditions. This paper presents a Genetic Algorithm (GA) to meet the maximum power operating point whatever the climatic conditions are from simulation results, it has been found that GA method is highly competitive for its better convergence performance.
