Sliding Mode Control of Chaos in Voltage Mode Buck Converter
Main Article Content
Abstract
A dc- dc buck converter controlled by a constant frequency PWM is operated in continuous conduction mode. For certain values of circuit parameters such as line and load variations, a strange phenomenon named period doubling and chaos is observed. A control scheme that varies the control parameter (i.e, sliding coefficient) according to the change of the output load is proposed for the control of chaos. This paper presents the effectiveness of the proposed solutions through the simulation results.
