Abstract

This paper deals with a model of photovoltaic grid connected system using fourth order Runge-Kutta numerical method using MATLAB/SIMULINK software. The system configuration includes a photovoltaic generator, DC-DC converter, DC-AC inverter coupled to grid network. A robust maximum power point tracker (MPPT) using integral sliding mode controller is applied to the duty cycle value of the DC-DC converter which acts on power system. Mathematical modeling is developed and the simulation results confirm the validity of the proposed controller.
